Acne Home Remedy - Get rid of Acne by Homemade Natural Remedies

Home remedies could be an outstanding form of acne alternative treatments to the pricey medicated treatments. Certain herbal Remedies that have been proven to help against acne are herbs such as chamomile, lavender, juniper, bergamot, dandelion root, and burdock root can be used to reduce toxicity and improve the overall condition of the skin. Echinacea and poke root are often used for their anti-inflammatory properties. Witch hazel has excellent astringent properties and may be very effective on acne. In most cases acne does affect the way you look and yes, and acne can be considered a threat to your physical as well as your personal well being.

The following is a list of acne home remedies that have been highly recommended -

  • Toothpaste - place a dab of non-gel toothpaste to dry out zits
  • Hydrocortisone Cream - place a dab on an inflamed zit to reduce swelling
  • Lemon juice - use as a drink or apply topically
  • Baking soda paste - use as a gentle exfoliator
  • Egg whites - use as a facial mask
  • Milk of magnesia - apply a thin layer and use as a facial mask
  • Raw garlic - eat a few cloves daily
  • Cornstarch - combine with water and use as a mask to absorb oil
  • Hydrogen peroxide - Use as a toner that does not dry out your skin (I tried this but it never helped my acne)
  • Vinegar - use as a toner (beware, this will probably dry out your skin too much and cause redness).
  • Aspirin - mash with some water and apply to skin like a mask
  • Green tea - drink a few cups daily
  • Eye drops - use drops that reduce eye redness to decrease the redness in your pimples

Apply essential oils, such as Tea Tree Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil. For sensitive skin, dilute the oil with grapeseed oil. Apply the oil before going to bed at night, then wash it away in the morning with a pure soap, such as Ivory, and clean water.

Avoid eating processed foods, and stick to more natural fruits and vegetables. No food has ever been scientifically proven to cause acne, however, if you have a food allergy, the allergy often results in acne.
